The Open Enrollment period for 2017 coverage is
November15, 2016 to January 31, 2016.
If you do not enroll or already have insurance
during this period you will not be able to enroll unless you have a Special
to our Health Insurance Exchange. You may compare plans and enroll directly on
line. You may also determine if you qualify for a tax subsidy. These are
dollars provided by the Federal Government which help directly pay all or part
of your health insurance premiums. If you qualify for a tax subsidy, you will
need to contact our office so we may enroll you into the program.
Special Enrollment: A time outside of the open enrollment period during which you
and your family have a right to sign up for health coverage. In the
Marketplace, you qualify for a special enrollment period 60 days following
certain life events that involve a change in family status (for example,
marriage or birth of a child) or loss of other health coverage. Job-based plans
must provide a special enrollment period of 30 days.
